G4’s Attack of the Show has premiered a new trailer for 9, a computer animated film produced by Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted, Nightwatch), directed by former WETA Digital artist Shane Acker, and featuring the music of Danny Elfman. Based on Acker’s Academy Award-nominated 2005 film festival short (watch it on YouTube), 9 is a post-apocalyptic nightmare in which all of humanity is threatened. THR has an interesting report regarding Terminator Salvation, director McG, and superstar lead Christian Bale. Apparently, the original script for the fourth film in the franchise was built around the main character of Marcus Wright (now being played by Sam Worthington), with the role of John Connor not being that large. When McG went to meet with Christian Bale, it was in an attempt to get him for that main role of Marcus, not Connor. This is where the project was seemingly grasped by Bale and taken from McG in a sense, as Bale decided that he wanted to play John Connor and add him into the story more.

Update2! Photos & Video: Shell Cottage Day 1 Filming

Filming for the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Shell Cottage scene has commenced. Some magnificent photos were sent over to The Leaky Cauldron from reader Jo. They include photos of Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange), Warwick Davis (Griphook) and Toby Jones (voice for Dobby). Additionally, other readers reported that Rupert Grint (Ron) was also on set for his transformation.
