Julie Walters Kills HBC!

Hey HBC fans! Here's the latest Potter news...and lovely HBC is part of it!

From Mugglenet:

In a recent interview concerning an upcoming project, Julie Walters, the actress who plays Molly Weasley in the Potter films, talked about her work on Deathly Hallows.

"It is back to Harry Potter. Mrs Weasley has a lot to do this time. I kill Helena Bonham Carter for a start – and not many can say that. We have a bit of a wand contest, I can't wait. It will be sad, though, because I've watched all of them all grow up. It will certainly leave a void."

Wolfman Will Again Have Eflman Music?

Music Score Magazine reports that Danny Elfman's score will be used for the new Wolfman movie, after they previously said they wouldn't be using his music, instead of music by his replacement, Paul Haslinger. Elfman's tracks were said to be "old-fashioned" and they wanted a more electronic feel to the music. Not anymore, apparently *rejoice*
Wolfman is now worth seeing again (not that is wasn't before, but I personally wouldn't be able to enjoy it if the whole time I was thinking how much better the film could be with Elfman music..)

Tim Burton to Direct Sleeping Beauty Revamp???

That's right, Tim Burton *may* make a live action Sleeping Beauty (yes, another Disney story could become Burton-ized) that is told from the point of view of Maleficent, the evil Witch (is it to be called "Maleficent" as well.) Aintitcool.com says:
She was always the most interesting character in that story, but we never knew why she hated those three little fairy wenches... or what indignity she suffered at the hands of Aurora's parents. Yeah, I'm on board... if only it ends with Maleficent with a sword in her heart in dragon form. Cuz that'll rule. Think about how long this plotline was carried out over. She has quite a tale to tell. Let's see where it pops up in Burton's filmography. We're hearing that DARK SHADOWS is stumbling a bit... Let's see what Tim does next, he has some interesting choices before him.
More news to come!
