London, England (CNS) - Johnny Depp dropped in to surprise sick children at the Great Ormond Street Hospital on Wednesday in London.
Much to everyone's surprise and delight, Depp dressed up as his "Pirates of the Caribbean" character Captain Jack Sparrow.
Depp visited several wards in the hospital and posed for pictures with the children and staff. It is the same hospital where Depp's 10-year-old daughter, Lily-Rose, was treated for kidney failure in 2007.
Depp has been in London promoting his latest film "Public Enemies."
It isn't the first time Depp has gone out of his way for the hospital. He previously gave the hospital a hefty donation of $1.5 million as a way to thank them for taking such good care of Lily-Rose during her stay.
